To another eye, the tower ascends. Wyrms at the bottom, wyrms at the end
A ring both foreign and familiar, to be destroyed Before victory can be won and peace be enjoyed.
Summary
This prophecy describes a sequence of 7 momentous events or signs that must come to pass for the Rungs Against the Seven to survive and destroy some unidentified evil or calamity.
-
A prominent Thassilonian slaver Zinlun (or a descendent of Zinlun) will survive the cataclsymic Earthfall event through necromancy or possibly lichdom
-
The prophecy Chalmymokos’ Conundrum, written by the Cyclops Chalmymokos will point the Rungs Against the Seven towards a location where two planes are converging: the First World and the Dark World.
Warning
All events and signs below are not well understood. Further context is most likely required to know the full details.
-
Somewhere in Iblydos Worm will somehow learn or attain the spell Threefold Aspect, which will allow the flow of time to continue.
-
Lotus will somehow destroy or “unravel” (either the First World or the Dark World)
-
Forfar will return in the Makers Vale in Varisia. This will crush Melaenis’ followers, but it isn’t clear who or what Melaenis refers to.
-
The Eye of Avarice will rise from where it’s hidden. There will be “wyrms” at the bottom and the end, but it is unclear what this refers to: Worm is the obvious possibility.
-
A ring must be destroyed, but what “foreign and familiar” references is highly unclear. It seems more context is required here.
